Standard Faire

This is some of the most wonderful music ever written and incredibly fun to sing!  The words are real and meet people right where they live their lives.  The thoughts expressed in these songs are as true today as they were the day they were written and the melodies have a quality that feeds something deep in the human spirit.  They are as if our very souls were crying out from the deepest emotion of the human heart.  There is such freedom in these songs.  Freedom to move inside the melodies to make these songs as if they were just an expression of what we were feeling.  That all the structure contained within them is just a happy circumstance - and somehow all the musicians were thinking and feeling as one lone soul.
